Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser using the HTML canvas. Your images never leave your device, which also makes processing instant — there is no upload or download wait.
Does cropping reduce image quality?
No. Cropping only removes pixels outside your selection — the pixels you keep are untouched. The crop is applied at the image’s full native resolution, not the preview size.
Which aspect ratios are available?
Freeform cropping plus presets for 1:1 (square), 4:3, 3:2, and 16:9. Square is handy for profile photos; 16:9 suits video thumbnails and presentation slides.
